They used to call us the sports family. Half teasing, half true.
Growing up, I watched my dad weigh every meal before his physique competitions. The kitchen scale was as familiar as the dinner table. One brother followed him onto the stage. My youngest came out of the womb chasing a football.
I followed too. I weighed my meals, planned my weeks, and balanced a pharmacy degree with training. After enough years, I stopped counting. The numbers just lived in my hands.
Then COVID hit and I found cycling. I raced four years in Dubai and rode for the Iraqi Women's National Road Cycling Team. Endurance was a different language. Hours of output, fuel that had to work mid-ride. When I started reading the science behind endurance nutrition, I realized I already knew it. The molecules, the mechanisms, the way the body burns and absorbs. It was my chemistry classes coming back to life.
I lose a lot through sweat when I train, and I know what a long session takes out of you. The fuel I actually wanted, honest about what it delivered and tuned to what athletes need, didn't exist. So I built it.
That's Kyndose. Made by an athlete, for the athletes doing the same work.
